  • Memory quilts can be made from many types of clothing, including t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, sports jerseys, button-down shirts, baby clothes, receiving blankets, bandanas, and other meaningful garments. Each item is carefully prepared and incorporated into the quilt design.

  • Yes. Many quilts include jerseys, hoodies, uniforms, or other specialty garments. These items may require additional preparation and may be added as specialty pieces in the design.

  • Yes. Quilts can combine t-shirts, baby clothes, jerseys, baseball caps, and other garments in a single design depending on the project.

  • Different shirt sizes are very common. The quilt design process accommodates shirts of many sizes by adjusting layout and cutting patterns to showcase the most meaningful parts of each garment.

  • Yes, absolutely! Stitch Happens Creative is based in the Austin, Texas area but accepts clothing shipments from anywhere in the United States.

  • Most projects take six-eight weeks once your items have been received, depending on complexity and current project volume.

  • Start by selecting the quilt style you would like, along with any add-ons. After placing your order, you will receive instructions to schedule a drop-off or ship your clothing items.

    A 50% deposit is required to begin the project. That payment is collected online with your order.

    The remaining balance will be invoiced when your project is complete. Once the invoice is paid, your quilt will be shipped/delivered.

  • Additional clothing items can often be added depending on the quilt design. Specialty pieces or extra garments may require an additional fee.

  • I plan the layout before assembly for the best placement of clothing graphics, logos, or meaningful pieces. You will receive a photo of the planed layout of your memory quilt before they are sewn together.

    You will also receive a picture of the completed quilt with your invoice.

  • Deposits ensure your project is scheduled and materials are reserved. Because every quilt is custom made, deposits secure your place in my production queue.
